Quick Snapshot:

As a Social Media Specialist, you will be part of the marketing core team that takes full ownership of the Perx brand. You will be responsible for creating social media campaigns and the day-to-day management of our social media platforms.


To be successful in this role, you will have to be passionate about the social media space, adopt a very hands-on approach, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to bring about various type of creative and engaging content in our social media community.


  • Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
  • Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
  • Managing a high volume of daily social media posts.
  • Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Developing and managing social influencer programs and attending social influencer events.
  • Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
  • Work with the content and digital marketing teams to adjust the social media marketing strategy and help drive more traffic to other channels for optimal results
  • Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
  • Performing other core marketing operations duties when needed.


  • At least 3+ years of experience as a social media specialist.
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication arts, marketing or equivalent.
  • Excellence written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player who can work independently when required.
  • Attention to detail, creative in problem solving.
